Hello there

This newsletter is urgent because I need to ask you please to re-subscribe in order to keep getting BoundingSquirrel in your inbox after this post that you're reading.

It's easy (and free) to do, and to get to the  *very* short form for it, tap or click on the link below:

https://newsletter.boundingsquirrel.com/l/sign-up-for-the-boundingsquirrel-newsletter

(After subscribing, you'll be asked to click a link in a confirmation email. And once that's done, that's it).

Why is this necessary?

I'm really sorry that I have to ask you to do this, and at such short notice too.

It's just that as part of the site re-vamp, I found out that I needed to move the newsletter, and then an end-of-the-month deadline outside my control appeared.

And in order to move a newsletter properly and observing the GDPR data protection regulations (my privacy policy is here) the safest, most transparent and above-board way to do that is to ask you to sign up again.

Good news

The good news is that the new system is a-maz-ing, and should give you much more of everything that's fun, and looks like cuteness and joy, with great security and simplicity (as far as I can reasonably tell from here).

Plus, yes *of course* if you have any questions about this, please do contact me.

And yes, *of course* if you'd like to use the "jumping bunny" animated gif from this post, feel free to download and use him, (either from here, or simply from the image itself, above). This bunny is optimised for web and email use, and my gift to you as a thank you for doing all this.

And if you don't want this newsletter any more...

If you don't want to get BoundingSquirrel updates in your inbox any more, you don't need to do anything. This will be your final BoundingSquirrel post.

I'll be sad to see you go, but love that you've spent time here, and wish you well. Please also feel free to re-subscribe at any time too, if you wish.

In any event...

Thanks so much for being here, and have a great week.

If you've decided to subscribe to the newsletter in its new home, I'll be back next week-on or around March 5th, (with much more of the usual fun fare, I'm hoping).

More soon.

Clare

A Butterfly Gif...

Click, tap or double-click
(depending on your device)
to download this butterfly gif

Hello there

Hope all is incredibly well with you. (And if you're in a hurry, please feel free simply to download and share the image above, with my compliments. The last frame is watermarked, so there's no specific need to link here, but if you'd like to, I'll always love and appreciate that).

News beyond the butterfly gif...

And if you're able to settle in for just a few moments, many thanks, and welcome. Because, as I type, it's that time of year again, isn't it? You know the one. The specific one in which we can't move in our inboxes for discounts, offers, sales, and the like.

So much so, that, lovely though these offers are, and grateful for them as I am, am managing to feel overwhelmed by all those offers... And it's still a full week before the infamous yearly "Black Friday," and  I'm *in the UK* (where we don't even celebrate Thanksgiving, or anything similar).

So, if you're feeling similarly, please feel free just enjoy these butterflies, and/or share them with anyone else who might like them.

Of course...

(If you have an amazing tolerance for shopping today, and would genuinely like to see more whimsical butterflies like this...1) I admire your stamina, and 2) They are available to buy download as a background here, on wrapping paper here, and as fun gifts here).

But otherwise and anyway, please just enjoy this butterfly gif , and thanks so much for taking the time to drop by.

More soon.

Hello there

It's a quick check-in with you today, but hope all's well and that you're thriving.

I made this animated gif to cheer up a friend...and then realised it would be a lovely thing to release to help you share some cheer and joy around as well.

So, feel free to download and share this image to cheer up anyone you think might like it.

(As ever, copyright remains with me, and credit is always appreciated, but never required).

And other than that, this has been one of those "in-between" weeks where there's plenty going on, but nothing that I can share yet.

Take care, and more soon.

Free Happy Halloween Gif (and a Sale...)

Hello there.

Now, before I go any further with this post, if you are scared of spiders, please know that, I am as well.

Which made it both bizarre even to have *had* the idea for the Halloween gif below, and essential that the spider therein be the cutest and most smiley, goggley-eyed creature I could muster.

Click, right, click or tap here to download and use this gif if you wish

I hope therefore, that everyone can enjoy this gif, however they feel about spiders (please do download and use this image if you'd like, ready for 31st.). Alternatively, there is also a Halloween, "Friendly Ghost," gif from a previous year here. (Terms of use for all my freebies are here).

Nothing spooky about this sale, though...

In other news, I just wanted to let you know that *all* the printables in my Craftsuprint shop (over 450 of them, now) are on sale from today 28th October to the 31st October 2022. This is the last full sale of these that I plan to run before Christmas, so it's a great time to stock up on any printable sheets you've had your eye on.

Here's the link to the shop again: https://www.craftsuprint.com/clare-walker/

Equally, if you're reading this after Oct 31at 2022, the sale will be over. The link will still point to shop goodies though :-).

And with all of that said, it's time just to wish you a lovely weekend (or day, if you're reading this later).

More soon.

World Watercolor Month: "Home" Prompt Snail (Becomes an Animated Gif Ecard)

It's been a hot week here. But a hot week in #WorldWaterColourMonth simply means that the paints dried ultra fast.

Snail for WWM prompt Day 23: "Home"

It was one of the first times out for me with the Derwent Inktense travel set of watercolour inks. (Soo many thanks for a great birthday gift!).

And, whilst there's a long way to go, this snail made me smile, so thought I would post him (or her).

Then I remembered that I needed to wish a friend luck with their move, so realised that an animated gif was on the cards (which you can also download and use if you'd like). So...Ta-dah...
