New "Butterflies & Aquilegias" Mini-Kit for Cardmakers and Papercrafters

How are you doing? There are so many ways to adjust to our temporary "new normal," I hope you've found the ones that are just right for you.

One of my strategies has simple been to keep designing. But it can be challenging to keep inspiration flowing amid all the changes. This week, I struck lucky, and was able to complete a design request for a customer. (She's fine with this going on general sale too, by the way).

And so, am happy to present a new mini-kit to you, "Butterflies and Aquilegias".

The kit includes a card front optional decoupage layers (that you can also use as embellishments too, a gift tag, verse, sentiments, blank insert and printable background paper).

As well as making a fab card, you could also use them again and again in other scrapbooking and craft projects.

So, if you're wanting to bring a bit of summer into your locked-down life (or your life, if you're reading this later) you can download the kit straight away here.

And if you make it and want to sell the finished card, please remember that's completely fine under my terms of use. (If you have pictures, that would also be awesome, and I can help share them on social media if you wish).

In any event, enjoy, and hope you have the loveliest weekend you can.

More soon.

New Echinacea Inspiration-Free Printable

Hello again and hope you're managing to keep safe, well and as happy as possible in these strange times.

In order to help that along, this image  is fully printable, and yours to download and share if you wish. Echinacea is traditionally a plant associated with healing, so it felt like a good choice. Just right-click and save to download.

Thanks for being here, be well and more soon!

PS. As ever, if you happen to be feeling crafty and want to work with just the image, it's available in various craft sheets here.

A Free Printable "Thank You"...

Hello there.  Hope you're well, and thriving as much as possible.

Today's offering is a free printable.

In these strange times, there's one thing am finding myself doing (even, I hope) more than usual. And that's saying thank you, to so many people who are, in their various different (and often unsung) ways making life easier

If you're feeling like that too, please right-click and save (or simply tap and save, depending on your device) this printable "thank you" design, with my blessing.

As ever, if you'd like to be able to do even more with this design, there's also a download in my shop here. But if all you need is a thank you card, this printable should be all you need if you can simply fix it to the front of any card base, cardboard or heavy paper.

It prints out well (300dpi) at 4 x 6 inches, making it an easy size to post as well.

Finally, I wish you the best possible weekend you're able to have (and promise that there'll be something other than daisies in the next post).

More soon!

New Free Wallpaper: Cheerful "Field of Daisies" Design

Hello there. Today's offering (free wallpaper for your phone or device) is a cheerier offering than the last, although it developed from it.

If you'd like it on your phone, just right-click and save this image.

Please note, I'm new to trying to design wallpapers. I've done my best to size this for what seems to be the largest phone screens available (so that everyone sees something good, no matter what their screen size.). But am no expert in this, and you may need to resize or change this to suit your device: please feel free to do so.

That's all for today, but if you'd rather have a bigger file in this design that you can print, it's also available here.

More soon-take care.

Art Journaling...& Should I Even Try It In A Crisis?

There was a conundrum you see. The situation does seem a bit sticky round these parts at present. (Not to mention the myriad of unusual practical issues that are facing millions of us right now).

But on the other hand,  the sun is shining today. My partner and I are also lucky enough to have all we need at this moment. And we're told that the best thing we can do to help others is to stay indoors.

So, daring to do some art journaling, did feel somehow, right. And, though in normal times, I'd probably "tsk" at this result and not post it, by doing it at all, I suddenly felt 100 times more positive.

Therefore, if you're in a similar position, I dare you to go ahead and make some art. Affirm that life *does* and will continue...And share every shred of joy you can find.
