New Bluebell Painting: "Ringing in the Spring"

Hello there. Hope you're well and thriving.

And after a much-needed (staycation) break, it's time to reveal something new.

Enter this new bluebell painting. (Though am loving how it's turned out-and that it was inspired by a single walk in our local woodland, that was drenching itself in the magic and newness of spring).

There'll be more soon, and thanks for waiting for this post!

PS. Update on April 30th: If you enjoy cardmaking and crafting, a sheet based on this painting is also available.

New Digital Painting: Summer Garden With Cat

Take a few moments just to set aside the stresses of the day, and simply lose yourself in a beautiful summer garden, complete with sleepy tabby cat.

This peaceful scene just popped into my head (starting with the boots, actually). And it wouldn't leave until it got painted out in full. (This is a digital watercolour in Krita-all 23 layers of it :-).

Feeling happier is the main thing here...

But of course, as ever, if you'd like to keep a more physical slice of the happy vibe, it will still be here.

As you might expect, this particular design shines as an art print...

But you might also love it on a tote bag, clock  or on other beautiful products and prints, here.

In the meantime, am wishing you all the peace and joy of a warm afternoon among the flowers.

More soon.

New: Happy Puffin Painting

Hello again. This week's offering  is a new and happy puffin painting.

He's inspired by the fascinating Audobon webcams featuring the antics of live puffins in Maine in the breeding season. Which I found courtesy of the equally amazing nature  and animal webcams at Explore.org (which is *such* great go-to -and free-site  for a mood-boost when you need one, by the way).

Anyway, back on the subject of the puffin, this little cutey not only looks great in all the ways you might expect, as in this framed print,

But also, with the whites and blues   in the puffin print pattern version of this design look really stunning on items for the bathroom, like this shower curtain and bath mat.

Finally, if you're feeling like a spot of papercraft instead, he's also the main feature on new puffin-themed card-making sheets over at Craftsuprint.

So I hope these puffins brighten up your weekend in some way. Have a good one, and see you next week.
