Lupins in a Cottage Garden

Hello there

Hope you're well and thriving OK (sending thoughts of calm, cool breezes and rain to everyone who might want this in various parts of the world).

Keeping things calm, just thought I'd pop in to share these lupins, (available as prints and on various other lovely things in the shop). They're a digital watercolour, painted stroke by stroke (in a *lot* of layers-22, I think...) in the Krita 5 digital painting app/software.

May they bring you happiness, peace, calm, and a joyful sense of summer, whenever and wherever you're reading this.

More soon.

New: Happy Puffin Painting

Hello again. This week's offering  is a new and happy puffin painting.

He's inspired by the fascinating Audobon webcams featuring the antics of live puffins in Maine in the breeding season. Which I found courtesy of the equally amazing nature  and animal webcams at Explore.org (which is *such* great go-to -and free-site  for a mood-boost when you need one, by the way).

Anyway, back on the subject of the puffin, this little cutey not only looks great in all the ways you might expect, as in this framed print,

But also, with the whites and blues   in the puffin print pattern version of this design look really stunning on items for the bathroom, like this shower curtain and bath mat.

Finally, if you're feeling like a spot of papercraft instead, he's also the main feature on new puffin-themed card-making sheets over at Craftsuprint.

So I hope these puffins brighten up your weekend in some way. Have a good one, and see you next week.

New Painting & Wall Art: Freesias

And just like that, one week has a strange habit of blending into another in a lockdown (or depending on where/when you are reading this, perhaps near-lockdown) scenario. How are you doing with that?

However, some normality has returned around these parts, as there's a new digital painting in my Redbubble shop. These pretty, colourful, and above all *cheerful* freesias to brighten up your space.

If you fancy this design, but would like it in a less traditional form, it's also available in the shop on gift and home décor items. However you like it, enjoy it, and more soon.

New Digital Painting: "Lilacs"

Whenever the world feels turbulent (and there's a lot of it about as I'm writing) something in me decides, most determinedly, to spend a little time in a world of whimsy.

And so, whilst it might or might not be spring for you as you're reading this, please let yourself do the same. And allow the colours of these spring lilacs to be a part of your world, too.

If you fancy putting the feeling of this into, your life, these lilacs also look gorgeous on an easy-hang Displate metal poster.

Have a great weekend, and more soon.

Announcing New, Easy Hang Wall Art (That Even Helps Nature)

red summer poppies whimsical easy hang wall art

Hello again, and am hoping this post finds you well and thriving.

Let's get down to it...I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that lots of my most popular floral art, like these summer poppies, has been accepted by Displate.Com to be part of their new easy-hang wall-art range.

The concept behind these affordable metal poster size prints is amazing: they hang with magnets, and can be put up in minutes, without damaging your walls. No need for framing or waiting around.

And because they're made of metal, the rich colours of digital art get shown off to great effect.

Best of all, 10 trees are planted for every Displate purchased.

So if you're looking for flowers or floral art to hang easily on your wall, and would love to help nature too, please do head over to my Displate page now.

(And of course, this design is still available for you as an ever-popular printable download, here...)
