Thanks So Beary Beary Much Illustration

Well-what a week.

In so many respects, this has been quite the week. Personally speaking, it's included (broadly, anyway) a birthday, unintentionally elongated celebrations for that (who minds an elongated birthday...yay!)...And some deeply annoying admin stuff that may take up waaaay more time than I'd like over the summer.

All of which is to say, this is why the blog post is a day late, and indeed, why the timing of things may be a little funky generally over the next few weeks. And yet also, why this week gave me so very much for which to be thankful.

The illustration

If you're into the details of how things are made, Sakura Pigma Micron Pens (yup, there's the birthday again) were the starting point, and watercolour markers the finish.

 (And yes, am so delighted with these pens *and* the latest of my trusty Daler Rowney sketchbooks that the links to them are of the affiliate kind. (Meaning that I get a small commission if you choose to buy through this link, but totally understand if that's not your thing).
